This is the park in Lindley, again within a few minutes walking distance of work. This park has some interesting views, but this shot was taking as more of an experiment in framing. I clearly didn't think much of it as I have used several techniques to try and make it more interesting.
This is a good illustration of the reason why I decided to underake this project.
Before I started the project I took photographs of views, and waterfalls, and other subjects that were clearly interesting. I wanted to force myself to take photographs in less interesting spaces, to force myself to find a good shot from an uninspiring landscape.
By taking photographs of everyday subjects you have to work much harder to make it a good, or interesting, shot. It isn't always a success, but the process is one worth learning from.
